My professional experience

I have been living in Switzerland for over twenty years. My professional career as a teacher of french business  began at a training institute in the heart of Bern. Thanks to this role, I was entrusted with various assignments for the Swiss Confederation and worked in particular with various departments such as the EDA, SECO and the Federal Office of Justice (FOJ).

In addition, I worked as a French teacher for various banks and, in 2010, set up a specialised training programme in the field of tourism for the bus and tram drivers of Bernmobil. I have provided intensive preparation for my clients for the DALF and DELF exams.

Since 2022, asa Responsable of Continuing Education, I have been actively shaping and supporting the digital transformation in adult education by promoting pedagogical innovations and strategically developing continuing education programmes.

The origins of « Franzakademie caraibes 50+ »

Travel has always shaped my life. As the daughter of a French military officer, I grew up moving from place to place frequently and discovered new cultures from an early age from Réunion Island to New Caledonia, Senegal and Guadeloupe. Martinique, my parents’ homeland, has always been the place of my roots and my return, and later also a destination that I rediscovered as an adult with a fresh, open-minded perspective.

My curiosity took me further afield to Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Tahiti’s Bora Bora; enriching me with a wealth of perspectives. As a language teacher, I also lived and worked for many years in England, Austria and Switzerland. Everywhere I went, I experienced just how valuable learning is in an authentic, culturally rich environment.

Today, I combine these rich experiences with my passion for designing language trips specifically for those aged 50 and over. My aim: inspiring stays that combine learning, encounters and cultural discoveries in a warm atmosphere. Because there is no age limit on opening yourself up to the world and gaining new experiences.
